The Sacred Tenth: Understanding the Purpose and Power of Tithes
To tithe or not to tithe
I am excited to introduce my new book, “The Sacred Tenth: Understanding the Purpose and Power of Tithes.” This work explores the biblical foundations and spiritual significance of tithing, offering insight into this ancient practice. Drawing on my years of ministry and in-depth study, I present a fresh perspective on why today’s church still uses tithing for income. Whether curious about tithes or seeking a deeper understanding, this book will provide clarity and wisdom. I invite you to embark on this enlightening journey with me.

Post from Lyft and Uber Drivers

From an actual I post I made:

My statement--

"Picked up PAX at ATL airport...she was moving back home from L.A.

Long story short: we got to her destination (Alpharetta ) but her parents had moved. Ended up taking her to Holiday Inn Express.

She is now trying to locate her family. Wishing her the best."

Actual replies with last names redacted.

Yall they probably were estranged and she was showing up at the door. People have real trauma.

Maximus P.
She’s got a lot to figure out and fast or she gonna end up homeless quick. Probably went against her parents wishes or warning about CALI and the cost of living there lol this happens more than we like to admit, a lot of daughters moving back home but unfortunately for her, nowhere to come back home to

Fatimah B.
She was probably a problem/toxic person cus they would have told her before she even thought about moving back. She probably left on bad terms now she need her parents and decided to show up thought the parents would say yes face to face and no over the phone. Maybe she get her mess together. The kids always need the parents

Cthulu N.

Atlanta senior charged with assault

January 14, 2020

Atlanta Court for Seniors

Judge Hardoff Jerkison ruled for new trial for senior citizen Charles Street in assault case of two teenagers in basketball game at MLK Jr Recreation Center. Street was on the court showing the young brothers his old school moves when he made a cross-over move and the boys fell to the floor. One tore an Achilles and the other a hamstring rupture on both legs.

Both boys received treatment at Grady Hospital in downtown Atlanta.  Dr. Severson said the injuries could have been worse if Street hadn't pulled back and took a three point shot (that hit nothing but nets).
Parents of the boys filed a civil suit against Street two days after the incident. Street's attorney Jessie Crump says his client is innocent because the boys didn't have on Jordan's. They both were wearing Bo-bo's (street slang for cheap sneakers).
Crump said the facility has a posted sign that clearly  states "No wearing of  Bo-bo's)".

The parents stated that Street was to old to be playing out on the court with the 18-19 year college students. (Names of the boys aren't being released at this time because of embarrassment). Street is a regular at the gym and plays 3-4 times a week, primarily showing the younger players how to cross over and make blind passes.  It is said Dominique Wilkins got "posterzied by Street" back in the day.

Another Narrative

In other news, local police question Black man who shot a white teenager in the parking lot at the Southside Landing mall. Police have reported that Percy Smith shot the 19 year teenager because he feared for his life. Smith was with his wife and teenager daughter when they left the mall to the parking lot. The 19 year (name not released) was following them on his skate board and ran up on the Smith's causing the daughter to fall. Smith told the kid to watch where he was going with the skate board and that he should't be skating in the parking lot! The 19 year old flipped Smith a "bird" and reached into his pocket. At that point Smith also reached in his pocket and pulled out a snubbed nose 38 and shot him in the abdomen. The kid fell to the ground. Bystanders called the police. When the police arrived Smith had put his hands on top of his car knowing that the police would find just cause to shoot first. Smith stated that he feared for his life for the reason behind shooting the 19 year old kid. Charges were filed on Smith for aggravated assault pending the outcome of the kid's injuries. District Attorney Lincoln Jefferson Lee stated that their was no just cause for Smith to fear for his life since the kid was only having fun and reaching for some his cell phone. This is not a true story but it could happen.
